Functional Consultant

Functional Consultant is an important part of any project team. Acting as the key interface between the users and the project manager involves gathering information, document processes, and confirm the final documents with users. You will work alongside other functional consultants and report directly to the project manager.

Your main tasks will include coordinating with customers to support and solve issues (including tracking tickets), performing detailed requirements analysis and design, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Project Implementation 

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • In charge of requirement gathering to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Performing requirements analysis & design.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
  • In charge of documenting and user training to ensure all stakeholders are capable of operate the product as designed
  • In charge of data cleansing and data migration.

Support Project

  • Responding to all queries from customers and prospects or coordinate with involving parties to give recommendations or solutions
  • Diagnosing and solving both of hardware and software issues and testing changes to the platform 
  • Logging and keeping records of customer queries using Internal Logging Tools
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues; redirecting problems to appropriate resources
  • Working collaboratively with other departments such as Development and Implement team

Qualifications

  • ​A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, MBA, business or related field
  • ​A minimum of 1-2 years experience in business analysis or a related field
  • ​The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Understanding of ERP and software implementation

Must have

  • ​Basic technical skills
  • ​Understanding of ERP and software implementation
  • A history of leading and supporting successful ERP projects
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
